View full specificationsThe Model 10/65 1200 is a short bar automatic loader built at our own factory in Pinetown. It loads 10mm to 65mm bar stock up to 1200mm long into your CNC lathe without an operator standing at the machine, so the lathe keeps cutting through breaks, over lunch and after the shift ends. Actuation is fully electric with no air supply needed, control is by PLC, and the machine only requires a 1M code signal from the lathe. The magazine loader accepts random lengths, bar straightness is not critical, and the whole unit takes about a third of the floor space of a conventional barfeed.

Barfeeder questions
How do I get more production out of my CNC lathe without buying another machine?
Fit an automatic bar loader. Once the magazine is loaded the lathe keeps turning parts on its own, so it runs through breaks and after the shift ends instead of standing still waiting for an operator to load the next bar.
Is an automatic barfeeder a low cost way to increase output?
It is normally far cheaper than a second lathe, because you are buying extra running hours on a machine you already own rather than another machine, tooling and floor space. Send us your lathe details for a quote.
What does an automatic barfeeder do?
It loads bar stock into a CNC lathe automatically, so the machine keeps producing parts without an operator loading each bar. That means longer unattended running and more consistent output.
Are these barfeeders proven?
Twelve of our own production lathes run with them every day, and we have been offering the range commercially for over 20 years.
Will a barfeeder suit my lathe?
